There is a growing need to monitor asset managers' efforts to address environmental and social issues. InfluenceMap's latest research on asset managers, released in 2023, found that 45 of the world's largest asset managers have not made significant progress on climate goals since 2021, despite an increase in climate targets set through Net Zero Asset Managers (NZAM) and similar initiatives.
In this seminar, the third in A SEED Japan's ESG Watch Series, analysts from InfluenceMap will explain the perspectives and methods used in the "Asset Managers and Climate Change 2023" report and what actions are expected of asset managers.
This year, A SEED Japan's ESG Watch project also scored the climate action of 16 major Japanese asset management companies this year. The Q&A session will touch on the contents of this scoring and deepen the discussion of the report.
