InfluenceMap—alongside UN Principles for Responsible Investment (PRI) and the Corporate Renewable Energy Initiative (CoREi)—is hosting a seminar, “Climate Finance Implementation Strategies for Accelerating Climate Action and Renewable Energy Investment,” in conjunction with the CEO of PRI’s visit to Korea.

The Principles for Responsible Investment (PRI) is an international investor network established in 2006 with the support of the United Nations. Its mission is to promote responsible investment and foster a sustainable financial ecosystem. Today, over 5,000 institutional investors and companies across more than 60 countries have signed onto the PRI, committing to the six principles of responsible investment, including the integration of ESG factors, active engagement with companies, and enhanced disclosure and transparency. In Korea, signatories include the National Pension Service, Korea Investment Corporation, the five largest financial groups, and leading asset management firms, totaling approximately 35 institutions.
The Corporate Renewable Energy Initiative (CoREi) was jointly launched in 2020 by the UN Global Compact Network Korea (UNGC), the Korea Sustainability Investing Forum (KoSIF), and WWF-Korea. CoREi is a voluntary initiative that supports companies in their transition to renewable energy by strengthening corporate capacity, providing channels for policy advocacy and information exchange between government and businesses, and contributing to the improvement of the renewable energy procurement environment. Currently, 51 companies are participating in this initiative.
