This online event will explore how the Latin America & Caribbean (LAC) region and Brazil, in its future position as COP30 host, can become a global leader on climate policy engagement. What building blocks are needed to drive forward net zero policy and regulation to achieve the emission reduction we need in the years ahead, while upholding development? How can non-state actors, like businesses, investors and cities, be engaged in shaping better climate policy to cut emissions?

Venetia joined InfluenceMap in 2020 and leads the Europe team in assessing corporate engagement on climate change policy. Venetia holds a Bachelor’s degree in French and Spanish from the University of Leeds and a MSc in Environment, Politics and Society from UCL.
