Supporting energy efficiency legislation

InfluenceMap Comment:

Supporting the Energy Savings and Industrial Competitiveness Act to introduce new energy efficiency standards for buildings in the US. (Huffington Post, February 2014)

Extract from Source:

The bill brings together a number of energy-efficiency measures, including improvements to building codes, funding for research and development of new technologies and incentives for the use of more efficient products. It would also push the federal government to improve its efficiency for buildings and appliances. The bill has support from across the political spectrum, including right-leaning groups like the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and the National Association of Manufacturers and progressive groups like the Alliance to Save Energy and the Sierra Club.
