Official Web Site:

Portland Cement Association appears to have a largely negative interaction on a range of climate change regulations. They have made statements suggesting an acceptance of climate change science yet they appear to oppose the need to dramatically reduce emissions. They also appear to not support both carbon taxes and cap and trade policies in the US. They have however made statements suggesting mixed support of energy efficiency standards, strongly supporting more ambitious road efficiency standards so concrete production can increase, while not supporting energy efficiency targets in the EPA's Clean Power Plan. Portland Cement Association also appear particularly opposed to the reduction of GHG emissions in the EPA Clean Power Plan in consultation and through their CEO, James Toscas, who argues such a plan 'will strain the economy'.
