Maersk appear have a mixed although very limited engagement with climate change policy. In 2014 they seem to have supported specific EU GHG emission targets, although it is unclear whether they support the transition in the energy mix towards a low carbon economy. Notably, their CEO, Nils Andersen, is the Vice Chairman of the European Roundtable of Industrialists, which appears to have opposed particular strands of climate legislation.
