21st Century Fox appear to take a generally oppositional stance towards strands of climate change regulations. They seem to have opposed the Australian carbon tax, reportedly playing an instrumental role through their media outlets in the policy’s 2014 repeal. On CEO/Chairman messaging Executive Chairman, Rupert Murdoch appears to downplay the significance of climate change while his company's media channels are reportedly systematically misleading the public about the science of climate change. They are members of the US Chamber of Commerce, which appears to oppose climate change legislation.
